Connect OpenClaw
Add Atomatize to OpenClaw, sign in once in your browser, and choose the brands and permissions it gets.
OpenClaw connects to Atomatize by signing you in, so there's no key to copy. It takes a minute. If you haven't yet, read Use Atomatize from your AI assistant for what a connection can do.
The quick way
Tell OpenClaw: "Read https://atomatize.com/agents.md and set up Atomatize for me." It adds the server and starts the sign-in itself. Then approve in your browser, as in step 3 below.
Step by step
Add Atomatize to OpenClaw. Either run:
openclaw mcp set atomatize '{"url":"https://atomatize.com/api/mcp","transport":"streamable-http","auth":"oauth"}'or add it under
mcp.serversin your OpenClaw config yourself:{ mcp: { servers: { atomatize: { transport: "streamable-http", url: "https://atomatize.com/api/mcp", auth: "oauth", }, }, }, }Sign in. Run this once:
openclaw mcp login atomatizeIt opens Atomatize in your browser. Sign in, or create an account.
Approve. Atomatize shows what OpenClaw is asking for. Tick the brands it may use and what it may do. Leave Publish unticked unless you want OpenClaw to post to LinkedIn and X for you; without it, OpenClaw prepares the drafts and you publish them from the web app. Then choose Allow.
Check it works. Ask OpenClaw: "List my Atomatize brands."
OpenClaw now shows up in Settings > API & agents, under Connected apps, with the brands and permissions you gave it. Its access renews by itself, so you won't need to sign in again.
OpenClaw on a server
openclaw mcp login needs a browser on the same machine. If OpenClaw runs on a server without one, use an API key instead:
In Settings > API & agents, choose Create an API key. Name it after the machine, tick only what OpenClaw needs and the brands it should use, then Create key. Copy the key; it's shown only once.
Add Atomatize to the OpenClaw config on the server, with the key in a header:
{ mcp: { servers: { atomatize: { transport: "streamable-http", url: "https://atomatize.com/api/mcp", headers: { Authorization: "Bearer atz_your_key" }, }, }, }, }
Put the key in the config yourself rather than pasting it into a chat with OpenClaw. More on keys in Run Atomatize from a script or scheduled job.
Change or remove access
In Settings > API & agents, under Connected apps:
- Change brands sets which brands OpenClaw can use. It sees the change on its next request.
- Disconnect cuts it off at once. To give it a permission you left out, such as Publish, disconnect it, then run
openclaw mcp login atomatizeagain and tick it.
