Getting started in the web app
Set up your voice, turn your first source into twelve drafts, then review, publish or schedule them.
Atomatize takes one thing you've made, such as a blog post, a newsletter, a PDF or a YouTube video, and writes twelve drafts from it in your voice:
| Drafts | What they are |
|---|---|
| 4 LinkedIn posts | The same source from four angles: a story, a contrarian take, a how-to and a discussion post |
| 5 X posts | Short standalone posts, each under 280 characters |
| 1 X thread | Six connected posts |
| 1 newsletter section | A short email section with a suggested subject line |
| 1 article | A standalone blog-style piece |
This guide walks through the web app from sign-up to your first published post.

Set up your voice
Atomatize writes in a voice profile built from your own writing. You'll be asked for samples first; it's worth doing before your first source.
- Paste one to five samples of your writing: posts, newsletter issues, blog excerpts. Around 150 words or more each works best, and different kinds of writing help.
- Choose Build my voice profile. Atomatize reads the samples and writes a short profile: sentence length, tone, the words you use and the ones you avoid.
- Read it. You can change anything it got wrong later in Brand settings > Voices, with Edit.
No writing to hand? Open No writing to hand? Talk it out for interview-style questions; a transcript of a voice memo works as a sample. If you skip this step, Atomatize uses a plain, direct default voice.
In Brand settings > Voices you can also write a profile by hand (Write one by hand), fill in a description and example text, and choose which voice is the default. Each source keeps the voice its drafts were written in, even if you change the default later.
Add a source
Choose New source in the sidebar, then one of:
- Paste text: anything of at least 100 characters.
- From URL: a blog post, an article, or a YouTube video. YouTube videos need captions; unlisted videos work.
- Upload PDF: up to 10 MB. The text is pulled out for you.
Add a title if you like, then choose Generate drafts. Writing takes about a minute; you can leave the page and come back. If you have more than one brand, a Brand field lets you pick where the source goes.
Not sure what to try first? Try it with a sample article fills the form with one.
Review your drafts
The source's page lists all twelve drafts, with tabs for each type and for the ones you've starred. On each draft you can:
- Star the ones you like.
- Edit the text in place.
- Regenerate it, to replace it with a new version.
- Ask for Another version, which keeps the original and adds a new one below it (up to three).
Both open a small box first: What should change? Leave it empty for a fresh take, or say what you want, such as "shorter", "lead with the cost point" or "drop the statistic". Atomatize then rewrites the draft that way, and the draft shows what you asked for. It only changes how the draft says things: facts still come from your source. If you ask for something the source doesn't say, such as a claim or a number, Atomatize tells you and leaves the draft as it is.
- Copy it to paste wherever you post.
Regenerate all writes the whole set again. Export Markdown and Export JSON download the source and its drafts.
Writing checks
Atomatize checks every draft for phrases and patterns that tend to read as AI-written. A draft with findings shows a Reads as AI badge; open its Writing notes to see each phrase with a suggested fix, or choose Fix these to have it rewritten. By default, flagged drafts are fixed once automatically, and the rewrite is kept only if it's better.
You can change what's checked, and how strictly, in Account settings > Writing guardrails. Respect my voice skips patterns your own samples use, and Em dashes can match your voice or avoid them entirely.
Publish, schedule or copy
To post from Atomatize, connect your accounts first in Brand settings > Publishing: your LinkedIn profile, an X account, or both.
- LinkedIn: choose Publish to LinkedIn on a draft. You can edit the text, pick the account, and post now or Schedule for later. LinkedIn posts, newsletter sections and articles can all be posted to LinkedIn.
- X: choose Copy & post to X. Atomatize copies the post and opens X for you to post it. Scheduling an X post sets a reminder: when it's due, you get a notification to post it.
Scheduled posts go out within about five minutes of the time you choose, never before it, and the Calendar shows what's queued for each brand. If a connected account's sign-in expires, its scheduled posts pause until you reconnect it and resume them.
Publishing from Atomatize is included in the trial, Pro and Scale. On Creator, copy the drafts and post them yourself.
Brands
A brand is a workspace: its voices, sources, drafts, connected accounts and calendar stay together, and nothing crosses from one brand to another. Use one per company or client you post for.
- Switch brands, or create one, with the brand switcher in the sidebar.
- Brand settings > Brand sets its name, logo and colors. The colors tint the app, so it's always clear which brand you're in.
- Your plan, monthly usage, writing guardrails and notifications are shared by all your brands.
The trial, Creator and Pro include one brand. Scale includes ten, with up to three voices each.
Plans and limits
Each new source counts once toward your monthly limit when its drafts are written. Regenerating a draft, asking for another version or fixing writing notes doesn't count again.
| Plan | Sources a month | Voices per brand | Brands | Publish from Atomatize |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free trial (14 days) | 3 | 1 | 1 | Yes |
| Creator | 5 | 1 | 1 | No |
| Pro | 20 | 2 | 1 | Yes |
| Scale | Unlimited | 3 | 10 | Yes |
The count is shared by all your brands and resets on the first day of each month (UTC). The usage meter in the sidebar shows where you are. See Pricing for prices, and manage your plan in Account settings > Plan and billing.
